On March 26 2012, at the Faculty of Informatics in Shtip, the fourth meeting of the local .NET User Group took place. This meeting was realized in collaboration with the Microsoft Impact Student Club – Shtip. The subject of the presentation was ‘Developing WPF applications’, and it presented the advantages of this technology and explained why it reached it’s fame in desktop programming. The presenters at this meeting were Ana Ljubotenska (Microsoft Student Partner), and Stojanche Panov (Microsoft Student Partner and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for Windows Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4). The meeting finished with a mini-workshop, so the attendees had the opportunity to try for themselves to write a bit of XAML code.
We hope to give many successful meetings which will give the attendees the chance to get to know the Microsoft technologies better.
